Lichtenberg, PhD, ABPP, FGSA, director of the Institute of Gerontology and the Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute, as well as Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Wayne State University, has been installed as the new president of The Gerontological Society of America (GSA), the nation’s largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to the field of aging.
