Community Liaison and Recruitment Core
The CLRC is the most “community-facing” of all the MCUAAAR Cores. The goals of the CLRC are to:
- Provide health and health-related community programming;
- Extend and expand partnerships with community-based organizations in Detroit and Flint, Michigan;
- Disseminate to, and translate scientific information for, the respective communities; and
- Contribute to the science of recruitment and retention of older African Americans by further testing the efficacy and efficiency of the Participant Registry/Participant Resource Pool (PRP) and expanding the PRP to other Michigan communities.
