Community Advisory Board Consultancy

The Healthier Black Elders Center has a long history in Detroit of working with older adult members, offering health education and working with researchers to conduct research projects. Our Community Advisory Board is a wealth of wisdom and willing to share what we’ve learned.

In 2020, we started offering consulting services on our experiences.

We offer two types of consultancies for:

• researchers/product developers to give feedback on research design, product design and dissemination of information/findings to older adult
• populations research groups, institutions, community groups on working in partnership with community advisory boards and research registries
